Please read the information below carefully. This is where we explain the issues around tickets and purchase, on-site rules and other festival-related things.
IFCC ORGANISER
IFCC – INDEPENDENT FESTIVAL OF CREATIVE COMMUNICATION is organized by Boonika – a platform of visual dialogue, a Croatian non – government organization based in Veslačka 23, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia.
ATTESTATION OF CONSENT
I hereby give my consent for Boonika to collect, process and use my personal data for the purposes of processing the purchase of my ticket and for any other use to which I have consented. This information will be used for the purposes of processing ticket sales.
PURCHASING TICKETS AND USER ACCOUNT DETAILS
I hereby give my consent for the mandatory and voluntary data collected from me in the course of purchasing and or registering for tickets sold by Boonika – a platform of visual dialogue. Should you wish your data to be removed you must request Boonika to do so in writing. Requests will be processed within a 30-day period. Requests can be emailed to [email protected].
After a successful purchase transaction has been completed, order ID is delivered as an electronic soft-copy via email to the email address noted at the seller’s fill-out form by the purchaser.
For issuing the tickets it is necessary to complete the required information in the fill-out form – such as attendee name – before the tickets can be issued. A printed hard-copy ticket or an electronic soft-copy ticket can be used to register at the educational program or/and the events.
USE OF PERSONAL DATA
Boonika will not sell your name, address, e-mail address, credit card information or any personal information to any third party without your permission. I hereby agree for Boonika to store the data collected when purchasing tickets or creating an account for submitting works for judging as a profile for internal purposes.
When personal information (e.g. name, e-mail address, work address, phone numbers, and other contact information) is provided through the Boonika website or directly to us by e-mail you give consent to Boonika for: processing and administering your personal data to perform all necessary actions to give effect to your request or instructions, retaining a record of incoming and outgoing communications (e.g. email) to process your personal data as outlined in this Privacy Statement. Boonika may also collect the following information about you:
- Information that you provide by filling in forms on our site
- Name and physical shipping, contact and payment addresses
- Email address and telephone numbers
- Credit card, debit card or bank information
- Tax identification or VAT number (if applicable)
If you contact us we may keep a record of the correspondence. We may also use your personal preferences related to the festival and information that you share with us with your consent via third parties such as Facebook correspondence, testimonials, photos, blogs, writings, customer satisfaction surveys or customer service communications that you may send us.
The right of access to information
You have a right to a copy of any of your personal data held by Boonika.
The right of rectification or erasure
If Boonika holds incorrect information about you which was originally submitted by you through this website, you have the right to have the data corrected. You also have the right to have any information you have sent to us via this website erased. To request your right to rectification and/or erasure please send your request to [email protected].
Personal Information Security
Personal information security is highly important to us. But, there isn’t a way of Internet transmission or electronic storage that is 100% secure. We do try our best to protect your Personal Information still, Boonika cannot guarantee it’s absolute security and cannot accept any liability where the security of your Personal Information is compromised.
Changes to this Policy
Boonika reserves the right to modify this Data Protection Policy and Attestation of Consent at any time. Any changes will be posted on relevant pages and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of the changes.
CANCELLATION, MISUSE, AND REFUNDS
For all purchases of tickets for educational program and events here are refund rules and regulations:
- We don’t offer refunds for deposits or any type of partial payments. Refunds are only possible when purchasing tickets at full price (one-time payment).
- If canceling your ticket prior to the event 90 days or more, we will refund 60% of the ticket value.
- If canceling your ticket prior to the event 61 days or more, we will refund 30% of the ticket value.
- If canceling your ticket prior to the event 60 days or less, we will not refund you.
In the unfortunate event of cancellation of any part of the educational program or event the liability of Boonika is limited to the share of paid registration fees that remains after credit card and payment processing fees have been incurred and deducted.
Boonika is unable to accept any liability to replace any tickets lost, stolen, damaged or used after they have been received. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to keep its tickets and info private.
RESTRICTIONS AND REFUSALS
The tickets purchased are for your own personal use or that of your business only and may not be re-sold or transferred for commercial gain under any circumstances. Where there has been any resale or attempted resale of any tickets (or any other breach of this term), we reserve the right to cancel the relevant tickets with immediate effect.
We reserve the right to cancel any ticket purchase made by any person or body whom we reasonably believe to be associated with any ticket broker or tout.
FILM AND SOUND RECORDING
Use of photographic and recording equipment at events and conferences is possible with authorization. For authorization contact us via [email protected]. Ticket holders consent to video filming, photography and sound recording as attendees. The attendees have no rights to these images and agree to the free use of these images and recordings by Boonika or any authorized third parties in any reasonable manner without a claim. You consent to film and sound recording as attendees at any part of the educational program and/or event during the festival.
PERSON OR PROPERTY DAMAGE
Boonika and its subsidiaries will not be liable for any personal property. Boonika and its subsidiaries will not be liable for any loss, injury or damage to any person or property howsoever caused (save for death or personal injury as a result of Boonika’s negligence or for any other type of liability that cannot by law be excluded or limited.) Please do not bring unnecessary valuable items or excessive amounts of cash, as ATMs are on site or nearby.
EVENT CANCELLATION, POSTPONEMENT & SUBSTITUTION POLICY
Boonika is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration, cancellation or postponement of an educational program or event. Boonika will not be liable at all in the circumstances that an event is canceled, rescheduled or postponed due to a coincidental event, unpredictable circumstances things to which we can not influence (or couldn’t at the time of the happening). Please note that guest speakers and educational program topics are confirmed at the time of publishing, circumstances beyond the control of the organizers may demand substitutions, alterations or cancellations of the guest lecturers and/or educational program topics. Boonika reserves the right to alter or modify the advertised lecturers and/or educational program topics if necessary without any liability to you whatsoever. Any changes or alterations will be announced on our websites as soon as possible.

This Privacy Policy is the result of our wish to disclose to our Users the general rules of privacy and treatment of their personal data that we collect and treat in strictest compliance with The Law on Personal Data Protection.
What is the purpose of treating personal data?
In general, collected personal data is provided for the purposes of sending complaints, suggestions, sponsorship requests, applications, business contacts and market research and/or evaluation surveys.

Boonika does not disclose to third parties any User’s personal data without your consent.

Boonika will only keep your personal data for no longer than is necessary, or for the period of time legally permitted by The Law on Personal Data Protection, after which it is permanently eliminated.
