IFCC ZBrush User Group Meeting 2015
The ZBrush User Group Meeting has became a festival tradition. It all started at last year’s festival event where ZBrush artists taught our visitors how they use our, their and your favorite 3D software package. Visitors and participants had a chance to view presentations on using ZBrush software and discussing its use with great artists like Ben Mauro, David Bentley, Hasan Bajramović and others.
Our guest list for IFCC ZBrush UGM 2015 has grown (and keeps on growing). We are very pleased to announce the following ZBrush guests speakers:
- Dominic Qwek – USA
- Kurt Papstein – USA
- Bryan Wynia – USA
- David Bentley – USA
- Alfonso de la Torre – USA
- Justin Goby Fields – USA
- Ben Mauro – USA
- Andrew Baker – NZL
- Tom Paul – AUS
- Mohamed Abdelfatah – EGY
- Hasan Bajramovic – BIH
- Milivoj Popovic – CRO
- and many others (soon to be announced)
How long will it last? Well, ZBrush UGM is really important part of the IFCC program for us so we’ll make it last through most of days of the festival, from May 25th to 30th. Stay tuned for more info.
Keep in mind that ZBrush 4R7 (and maybe ZBrush 5) should be out by then as well as Zbrush to KeyShot Bridge. That means a lot of new goodies for all of us. For example the integration of traditional low poly modelling is something that we all have been craving for. Looks like girls andd boys at Pixologic were not ignoring us, they were waiting for the right moment. Now that all other 3D apps have integrated sculpting tools, Pixologic is bringing box modelling. It’s like they are saying “hey you guys, we’ve gone back in the past a bit so we can still be in front of you”. Not that we have something against cutting and slicing hires meshes, no. It’s just that you have to have that good old box modeling when you need it. Right? Right.
