Zagreb ZBrush UGM 2014 was a great intro for what 2015 will bring. Now even more ZBrush artists from almost all continents will show you how it’s done. And that’s not all. Not even close.

The Foundry will be showing their latest VFX and Design technology and product updates used in Academy Award-winning movies, design and post production studios all over the world.

Some professionals use expensive, some use affordable and some use cheap software. But what about free software? Can it be the right tool. Can it do the job? Come and see for yourself.
ARE YOU READY TO JUDGE AND BE JUDGED?
Judgment Day Awards 2015

Who can submit works?
Everyone.
Are there any rules and regulations?
Of course there are, you can read them here.
What are the categories?
You can submit your work(s) in various categories. They will all be announced on 1st of December 2014.
How much does it cost?
First submissions are free while all following submissions cost 75HRK/10EUR.
If hundreds of your colleagues say you’re the best, well, then you probably are.
We are convinced that the popular vote matters when the voters are informed and genuinely interested in the subject being voted on. Creative achievements are often viewed subjectively but our broad range voting system will afford the works a certain neutrality and objective consideration.
IFCC 2015 is more than a festival
You should expect… well, more than you expect. Read below.
MAIN PROGRAM
The main program will consist of live presentations, lectures and discussions performed by key guests of the festival. All activities will pertain to the speakers specialized field of work.
WORKSHOPS
The Main Program will include a number of short workshops. The knowledge you’ll acquire at these workshops will help you upgrade your skills to a whole new level. Use your new super-powers wisely, alright? They’re powerful pro stuff.

INTENSIVE WORKSHOPS
Intensive Workshops are not a part of the Main Program. A selection of guests will conduct workshops with a limited number of applicants. They will be divided into categories (e.g. concept art, live drawing, 3D modeling…). Their main purpose is to present the participants direct insight into the creative process with tips and tricks on how to achieve a desired goal.
VIDEO/MOVIE PROJECTIONS
The Festival features several films and/or film segments depicting a work in progress and its final version. The videos will be showed at Cinema Europa and other selected venues.
PORTFOLIO REVIEWS
Industry experts will be available to review and comment portfolios of upcoming and contending professionals. Their commentary will analyze current approaches as well as provide suggestions on how to improve and enhance future work.
USER GROUP MEETINGS
These meetings are mostly software related congregations of minds and skills where knowledge and expertise is freely shared (Photoshop, ZBrush, The Foundry package, Blender). Check this Boonar Studio post about our last ZBrush UGM.

LIVE ACTION

World renowned street/graffiti artists will paint walls right in front of you, exposing their approach and technique.
EXHIBITIONS
Shows of various artists will be held in selected galeries.
ART BATTLES
Artists will do battle for your pleasure tackling each other on a specific subject or theme. All very live!
JUDGMENT DAY AWARDS 2015 CEREMONY
IFCC will conclude on Judgment Day – the award ceremony where recognition and praise will be showered upon those most fortunate and creative working in the publishing, advertising and entertainment industries.

PARTIES
Every Festival day will end with a small get-together in order for the participants to relax, unwind and most importantly hang out and get to know each other. The final day will feature the Judgment Day award ceremony followed by a large to-do and concert that will be open to the public.

FREE CONTENT
This part of the Festival is meant for all of those that would like to participate but due to the particulars of their current financial situation are not in the position to do so. Free festival content will include lectures, discussions and social events.
